A Heat Exchanger for your Heineken Keg Pot that will bring water to a rolling boil faster and with less alcohol fuel!

A Troop 73 Alcohol Stove Project
You should probably be able to add this heat exchanger to the side of any cook pot and have faster boil times.

  • What did you use for your insulation on the middle of the keg pot?

  • @skinnyrhino8 at that time we were using fiber glass dry wall tape.

  • oh ok i got understand so then y does it go out when i put the heiniken pot on top?

  • @jreaper23 Mine doesn't go out. Perhaps I am not understanding properly. Can you make a video of what yours is doing so that I may see?

  • hey i watched ur vid on makeing the unican stove nd i did exactly wat u did but the jets on the side dnt work it just has the flame from the open part coming out any suggestions?

  • @jreaper23 from what youve said, it sounds as if its working properly. The flames are not supposed to come out of the "jets", but from the seam where the upper and lower half are together.

  • sure no problem

  • Not really.

Only the glue at the tips of the fins will melt a bit and youll see some "flare up's" on the fins the first few times you boil with it. After that, no flare up's and the tape sticks just fine.

  • Doesn't the glue that holds it all together burn off eventually?

  • I have posted two videos showing the time to boil water on the same stove using identical Keg Pots, except that one has the copper heat exchanger.

The time difference is pretty amazing!
