  • Well I see what you mean about the square adapter nut. So I should take that nut off and use the threads to fasten to the peg? Do I need some sort of extension to make it fit the usual bike size peg screw hole? I can't seem to understand how to fasten a peg onto the shaft. I've got a featherlite down 2 just the engine and peg standing by. If i just tighten a nut with some washers its going to float on the threads. Lemme upload a video =P

  • my" weed wacker bike fly wheel trim" video might help if the peg is to big to fit between the fins on the fly wheel i dont see you video

  • wouldnt it be better to drill out the end of the peg then shove a nut in it and weld the nut into the peg then just thighten up the peg?

  • @zvczcmmq2 welding a nut will make it out balance unless you perfect...im not:)

  • Very informative!!! Thank you for making and sharing your video with all of us!!!

  • @GnarGnarGnarGnarr Different states treat these things with different laws. Here in Va. they are legal, fall under the same rules as a moped. I ride mine on the sidewalk when needed, but it is illegal. However, I've never been harassed as long as one does it with a little common sense, meaning ride slow (12-15 mph) and try to be quiet & discreet & polite to other bicycles & pedestrians.

  • @bassoundlikethunda I was wrong. Engines mounted on the left side of a bicycle are indeed spinning the correct way. I doubt they would start if one tried to do it backwards but then again, I've never tried.

  • @kolbpilot yes you can get a stepped or advanced woodruff key for the flywheel. if you cant find one make one i know the make them for small briggs engines

  • @almostalways803 I liive in Maryland and i am 15 too i believe it is just classified as an assist if it is under 50cc
