its far from basic. Chad sexton has been noted for the complexity of this solo and his prior solos many many times. Basic is your state of mind. just because its not blast beats and tripple bass peddling does not make it basic.

The difference between Fall Out Boy and 311 is simple. 311 didnt sell out to make money.
Also the beat is simple, but thats the beauty behind it. Everyone gets too overworked about how complicated it is to play a beat. Who cares if its a complicated beat? It doesnt make it better, it doesnt mean you have more talent. All it means is that you would rather spend more time trying to over complicate something that should be simple.

It's basic but I'd like to see these ppl saying it sucks to play it note for note and see it's not really as basic as it sounds.

Hes very basic.
nothing that stands out as Chad Sexton, its more what everyone wants to hear from a drum solo.

Yeah. He makes simplicity in solos cool though.
But he also plays very techincally. It's hard to play his songs exactly as he does.
