Short Films Roman Polanski. Cast : Katelbach, Roman Polanski --- A small and thin barefoot slave (played by Polanski) plays a flute and beats a drum to entertain his large master who rocks in a rocking chair in front of his mansion. The slave jumps and leaps like a madman, wipes his master's brow, feeds him, washes his feet, shades him from the sun with an umbrella and holds a urinal for him. 1961
A good critique of class struggle, manipulation and depersonalisation. Fooling people to make them continue to serve. I bet Polanski was inspired by Marx and Fromm.

the nature of master/slave and boss/employee.... He get's sick of his tasks and tries to run away so the master punishes him by strapping him to a goat, making his life worse. After some time the master frees him from the goat, and the slave is so happy to be freed from the goat that he is excited again to get back to his chores, forgetting why he tried to run away in the first place. A good critique on freedom actually.
