Biographical piece on Willie O'Ree NHL's first Black Player. Amazing life story and hockey career as willie lost sight in one eye due to a receiving a puck to the eye, willie continued to play blind in one eye and never told anyone.

  • fisrt black guy in hockey thats scarier than first in baseball if you ask me cuase in hockey they can really fuck you up.....hes got balls or hes crazy

  • cool video

  • What is your problem ccsdsucks?? You think going "oh niggers" makes you look really cool, but you just look mentally retarded. For a grown adult to make a comment under such a video is confusing for everyone. O'Ree is a class act and a very special man, and he has a lot of fans. Also not only does your racism piss me off, but this man is a fellow Atlantic Canadian, and we are a close knit community. It makes me proud to see one of my own having done so well. Please fuck off somewhere.

  • I agree! O'ree is a very classy man and an inspiration for anyone. Not only did he do what he loved and overcame racism, but he also was blind in one eye, and still kicked ass on the ice! He is a class act and I am proud to say hes from Atlantic Canada like me:)

  • holyshit just realised there were not that many black guys in Hockey
