In an effort to dispel the rumors that he stole the beat for "Shinin'" from Black Spade, Charles Hamilton uploaded his full ProTools Session files. I took the opportunity to investigate for myself.

  • Black Spade is totally lying he says he "produced" the song in 07. Shinin was recorded November 18th 2006. At the end of the song he says, Yung Nate. Nigga your birthday coming up. You aint that young.

    Nates birthday was November 23rd

  • By talking about it, Black Spade DID something about it. Now loads of people hate Charles Hamilton because of the BULLSHIT he pulled.

It's not stupid, its real, recognizing the fake for what they are.

  • Wait. Who fucking cares if he sampled the intro from a song...? Charles Hamilton still makes good ass music nevertheless.

  • IDK man, he says that young nate's birthday is coming up or something like that and some guy told me it was in december which was before black spade released it. He also was working on this song in 2006, and pink lava lamp was made then. He could of just added black spades samples later on to make the song even doper, but IDK if he really did that. His a beast with samples. Maybe they did the same work??

  • @QCW You got it from his blog? That doesn't prove anything.

  • @GODZILLA1998FILM i took that from his blog, that wasn't my statement....

  • @dodgerblue4lyfe real hip hop isnt people biting beats tho is it.

  • @QCW HE STOLE IT, stop spreading the ignorance.

  • @dodgerblue4lyfe Do you really think stealing someone's beat is ok? No it not.

  • @Kronix777 Sampling? No that's no excuse for stealing someone else's work.
