very cool pattern.....it comes from "Playing With Fire", recorded with Bobby Shew...the name of the tune is Tom's composition entitled "April Mist"...nice work

what is going on with that lick?, im sorry but i am a beginner so ANY help would be appreciated.
i know what a g pentatinic is but what else is going on?

All the notes of the g pentatonic scale are used and the jazz lick is just going in groups of two I like to think
(DE BD AB GA EG DE)
This is one octave, then it just repeats itself.
The lick sounds cool if used partially as well.
