I don't mean for my opposition to make you feel that way. That is not my intention. You are right though, I do need to try to see things from your perspective. But who is imposing on who? There is something here greater than you or me. Doesn't something that has been around for 5k years and is so foundational to a successful society deserve fair and honest discussion and debate before we try to redefine it and potentially cause harm? Truth should ALWAYS be used as the standard before fairness!

maybe some of the people from to no on h8 side go to the idea or feeling of hate because that is how it feels; to have our rights taken away...since the yes on 8 campaign has begun I have felt hated, misunderstood, judged and unless YOU know how it feels to have a right taken away, unless you have walked in my shoes then please-let me live my life and have equal rights---

Why is it that a majority of the gay marriage movement automatically labels any opposition as hate? Of course there are groups of people that has hate as their motivation, but the majority of opponents of gay marriage have rational and legitimate concerns. Do some research and you'll realize it's concerns about how gay marriage affects the individual, the family, and society. You do yourself a disfavor by not rationally presenting your case and being quick to label an idea or concern as hate!
