Here is a brief vid going out to all my fishy friends!!!
African cichlids in the 90 gallon, NOTE the FRY in the rocks.
I can't get to them, so please don't post "please save them"
The smart ones will make it. The not so smart ones, well, will be lunch. Some might make it. For those who followed lucky, he made it. He was given away to live as a singleton, because he had bad barring. BUT, he made it! :)

  • What kind of rocks are these ???

  • @jamess1282 See top of video ;)

Mostly lace rock, with some moon rock underneath. BUT, I don't recommend the moon rock, it is horrible to clean when you first get it, and it leaches yucky gunk in your water for the first month (you can literally sit and watch cloudy plumes escape from the rocks in the water current)

  • i figured that out lol... rip stealth

  • @africancichlidsrock LOVE the name, stealth. I had a demasoni named stumpy LOL ;) (His mom chomped on his tail during a botched "stripping" (oops, butterfingers and slippery fish!) It was a learning experience for me, and unfortunately a life experience for Stumpy. He lived a fine life and I had to rehome him when he was five, I hope he is still doing well. :)

  • @Luvbeags Thanks!

  • @anythingnitro

I've moved over 1000 miles and have not reset up tanks yet.

Where I am living now I can not have my tanks unfortunately. By next year I should be ready to set my tanks back up. Soon as I do, you know vids will be up! :)

Thanks for stopping by, appreciate it.

  • @Luvbeags post some uptdate videos of your tank/ tanks:):)

  • Hi, i recently setup my own african community tank and was just wondering if someone would be kind enough to share some knowladge with me.

I have 4 electric yellows 4 maingano's and 4 red zebra's atm how do you sex the electric yellows? any info much appriciated

  • @Luvbeags yeah we r starting to miss old youtube so much now

  • i wanna get some more after i set up my new 110 gallon im thinking 4 think that numbers good and that name fits that fish well lol

  • @FOB101ful I'd add your old filter and maybe even another filter just in case (in case one filter dies, then you still have two) YOU CAN NEVER OVERFILTER.

For a 55 I'd be tempted to go with a dozen saulosi, they are colorful, lively, and great fish, and they breed like crazy so you will always have fish to sell or trade in. :)
