  • This could work on a 2004 T6 or not?

  • @mario022594 Very similar

  • now how do you diagnose if ignition coils are bad? i got a cylinder missing, hence the reason i changed plugs (and i am at 90k). do i just get one and try it out until problem fixed...i could just take it to volvo i suppose, but not for the DIY'er. Any reason why a cylinder would not be firing? injector?

  • @snazzykick Swap the coils and mark the one that you think is bad. If the P030X code follows where your marked coil is- then you know the coil is bad. There are ohm test you can do on them, but they are as effective as blood letting (old medical practice of cutting sick people to get the blood where they thought the sickness was out of the body) most of the time. They don't detect cracks, ignition leaks, etc.

  • Great video...changed plugs in no time....very easy to do!

  • @snazzykick Thanks. Glad it worked out well for you.

  • @hagenhammer So it IS the TCV! Wow I knew it! Changing that shit ASAP. :)

  • @hagenhammer actuly my bad, my friend had the same problem on his T5 and it was the TCV.

  • @bob333336 fuel filter but it sounds like you got a probblem whit the coils(eaven if changed) The tcv will only give u bad milage lo power and boost not any misfires. Try cleaning the maf.

  • (continuation) put it into a video response.

  • I've been having an odd issue with my S80 T6, where I have gaps in acceleration when I get past 70% throttle, as if I'm easing off the throttle for just as second then getting back on, over and over again. I had a misfire, and I got the ignition coils replaced, I've gotten the turbo inlet hose replaced because it looked a little mushy to my mechanic, I've done belts, thermostat, water pump, fuel pump, I'm running out of things to do. Only thing left is the TCV, what do you think?

  • does this give 25 extra kilowatts
