Dennis Kaufman & Nanette Barto: The FBI Lie

Contrary to what forensic handwriting expert Nanette Barto has told the media, the FBI has never confirmed a match between Jack Tarrance's handwriting and that of the Zodiac Killer.

"With no new info from December to January, we finally get a meeting with (FBI Agent Chris) Hopkins, I believe the 2nd week of January, where by the way, the handwriting examination report had just arrived that morning FBI response to the handwriting was inconclusive in one sentence and 'may not have in the second.'" -Nanette Barto, March 14, 2010

"The FBI's test on handwriting evidence from a potential suspect (Tarrance) has come back. The results are not negative, but they are inconclusive." -Kris Pickel, CBS 13, February 10, 2010

The handwriting results were inconclusive. Nanette Barto tells CBS 13 that the FBI is interested in receiving additional reports from her.

"The FBI is not discounting her work; on the contrary, they have requested she prepare an additional report. 'The report is to focus on habits of the author and how they arrange words and how they put together a sentence,' Barto said." -Kris Pickel, CBS 13, February 10, 2010

However, according to a candid message board post, Nanette explains the request for an additional report was not because they were interested, but because no one at the FBI thought her first report was worth reading.

"Feb. rolls around and I have completed the Nuances report for the 3rd time with Dennis because I was told directly by Chris Hopkins that no one would take the time to read my 186 page report" -Nanette Barto, March 14, 2010

Tom Voigt, case expert and webmaster of ZodiacKiller.com, contacted FBI Special Agent Steve Dupree by phone to ask if the FBI had ever matched the Zodiac Killer's handwriting to that of Jack Tarrance. Dupree's response was "That (claim) isn't coming from us."

@zodiactracers All I know is that this is my video on my account and I have not deleted one single comment that has been left. So, I'm hoping that Dr. Doogie deleted his own comment. I would hate to think it was deleted by someone from YouTube. As far as flagging for spam, anyone can do that, including Dennis's supporters -the most likely candidates.

America's Most Wanted has recently listed Jack Tarrance as one of the TOP suspect's in the Zodiac case. You don't think they checked with the FBI on this? Of course they did.
