@MrApplelovin Despite my previous response, I do actually agree with that. It's like... the best word ever at describing some identities that are otherwise super complex and also at being a bit of an umbrella term and just generally being an awesome word.

I agree Tranny is just offensive. I think "reclaiming" it is just BS. I think it just causes issues just like saying the "N" word and "F" word being used by the community is just causes issues. Thanks for your videos I have enjoyed them a lot. Thanks to you I found HPA and I found you via VLog Brothers coming out video

@Wesleyintheory Yeah... I'm not so down with reclaiming any of those words, but I added that so people don't hear a trans person say it and then think it's okay to say it as well, y'know? Like how Lady Gaga put all those pejoratives in "Born This Way" that she had no right to reclaim. Thanks for watching!

@cameronthemonster So many people don't! It's difficult to justify being angry at someone who says it when there really just isn't enough awareness of the trans community for people to have anyway to know these things. Glad you discovered the HPA's channel! :]

Well i am transsexual. I never play the pronoun game with loved ones. Seems to help. If they act stupid. I just give them a look. Like they are not in the it crowd. really cool vid :)

what bothers me is that i think "queer" is a really good, descriptive word in it's traditional definition, but if i use it people think i'm using it offensively and it's just too bad =/
