Vintage Makeovers, Oprah 1998 by Christopher Hopkins, The Makeover Guy

I appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show for the second time creating "age defying makeovers" with Joan Rivers. Oprah and Joan were aloof during the commercial breaks to each other, but it was a HUGE opportunity for me. Once Oprah mentions my name and where I worked, the phone rang off the hook for days. To this day people say they saw me on Oprah and I think..."really?"




I was never on the show again, yet I still hear people say...."I saw you on Oprah recently..." I never know what to say.

I do love this makeover...probably one of my favorites...but it took many hours and a few botched color attempts before Kristyl Narlock Brolin Lomeli, who was pregnant and a little...on edge...at the time got it right. But drama often leads to great things. And this is a perfect example.
