TURNING THE TIDE takes the viewer into two "urban wetlands" in the most densely-populated state in the nation, New Jersey. The Hackensack Meadowlands and the Hamilton-Trenton Marsh were once used as landfills, but today they are being slowly nursed back to health through conservation measures. TIDE was awarded a CINE Gold Eagle and a World Medal at the New York Festivals.
