Yeah, it would be nice, clover makes such a good cover crop. Unfortunately, at least here in the South, "Devil Grass" as it is called (Bermuda Grass) is a serious invasive species. It does dormant in winter, and as soon as the spring rains start it wakes up and goes back into action. Am busily digging as much as I can out right now before springtime.
Thanks for commenting!

Perhaps you could crowd out the Bermuda Grass with Clover...Seems like Ray has a lot more control of his lawn that are all Clover, and it returns nitrogen to the soil.

Enjoyed the video. I've got plenty Devil Grass here and you are right, it can take over in no time. If I spray around trees or the fence row it's the first grass to come back........Donald
Hello Sir,
can you 'tear' out the devil grass with the roots at first sight and be OK?
I mean, if you flame it, the roots might still be active or not?

@JoeHell67 It would be nice if I could just pull them, but they spread 3 ways. And the runners are like pulling up a fishnet - tangled in everything and as long as 8 feet.
But when you expose the plant to 500,000 BTU's the plant moisture boils and bursts the plant. But even that isn't foolproof.
The only way I have found is to Solarize it over the winter. I cut it short and torch it, then cover with a thick clear plastic over a couple of months. Sun cooks it good.
