We are living in a police state akin to Nazi Germany, Stalinist Russia, Mao's China etc. The big difference is that now it is much easier to track millions of people with electronic means - to invade peoples' privacy - to actually have the state inprison and murder people with ABSOLUTELY NO DUE PROCESS.

Why not. religous profiling, absolutely. Racist profiling, sure.

@moneyhand Why try and HIDE what I just brought to light? They do NOT go through he same Scanner! When they fly on PRIVATE JETS they just drive up to the JET and get on. NO SCANNER THERE! Give me a break do you really believe they bring FULL BODY SCANNER OUT TO THERE PRIVATE JETS? ROFL yeah ok, and your TSO is of no importance outside of the scanner box area. There are no scans done to private aircraft owners or there passengers. I KNOW I OWN MY OWN PRIVATE AIRCRAFT and there are no restrictions
-
@2xtream Your statement is very false I am a TSO at and I can assure you that even congress members go through the same screening process.

Did you know that ALL Government ppl in office that FLY, FLY on Private aircraft i.e. private jets? They don't get in any line for a nooner!!! They as millions of aircraft owners pass all this and get into there own private aircraft ON the SAME airport and do as they please... So where is the security of the airport??? This is LAME and if you hadn't been drinking so much FLUORIDE and SACARIN your brain would still be working and tell you this was wrong!!!

Being a TSA employee..I can say you're looking way too much into it. We're not there to harass anyone just to ensure that no dangerous items are permitted onto the planes.
That's really all that I can say because I work for them. Before I started with tsa i use to think it was a joke as well, but now that im wearing those shoes i know that they were just doing that job with no prejudices.
-
Oh and TSA owes me a pair of two hundred dollar eyeglasses that they lost as they rushed me through a full body pat down. Randon my but I think I'm some list for wanting peace in this world and truth.
Not to say it's right.... but it's the world we live in. You have every right to wear whatever you want, but like me wearing a trench coat after Columbine you have to be prepared and not be surprised when stuff like this happens.

Sine moving to Japan I stand out a lot. I get stopped by cops all the time when I'm out after dark, and sometimes when I'm not. I get strange looks occasionally, and some people avoid me in stores. I'm a tall, imposing foreigner. I knew this would happen when I came here. I KNEW I would stand out and what to expect. But I love it here, so I'm fine with all of this. The nail that sticks out gets hit, as they say here. If you do something or are someplace where you stick out, don't be surprised.
