My bad they're threatening to block it off because USA have resorted to stealing in order to maintain their already failing economy. They see another recession on the way, the same guy that saw the 2008 recession coming has said there will be another one soon. However Iran need the oil for themselves, they need money because they know war is coming. That was a hyperbole but oil is very precious

I agree as well that, Oil was one of the major reasons. However, just the war its self and the occupation of Iraq is largely profitable for many private companies, so its not entirely about oil. However you'll have to check your facts on the strait of Hormuz because Iran has deff not blocked it off. Even Panetta said on dateline if they block the strait, thats a 'red line'. I don't think its so simple that you control the oil then you control the world, its a bit more complicated

Even now they're fighting with Iran for oil. Iran have blocked the straight of Hormuz because the US are blatently STEALING oil from them. It's all about oil and natural resources. Control them and you control the world because everyone is so materialistic right now, and resources are dwindling.
