the conservative party always said that spending growth more than the economy was growing was unsuitable. the changes in banking regulation in 97 also played apart, u said that alister darling is right except the bank of England, the i.m.f the credit rating agencies, The institute for fiscal studies and cbi say something different. I’m not a torie I’m an economist from the states but to say they didn’t say anything about labours spending is very wrong

Ha what a joke. He makes large claims at the start which he simply can't deliver on. Instead he is going to ensure that his legacy will be to leave behind an even bigger shambles. "Swiftly" and "effectively", too little too late.

From an economics point of view these are the only two choices we have which are

1.cut spending

2.increase taxes

These are the only options alistar or any other party have. We are still in a recession because other countries have strong manufacturing. Canda has tourism, we have lost our manufacturing and still are so how can we be expected to get out of recession.
