Did I hear correctly that Republican Buddy Roemer is in favor of the Public Option? I wonder if there are other R's who in another, less partisan, less insanely ideological time, could have joined with the D's to give us the Public Option.

The only people who we the voters can vote on, are those people the Religious class choice for us, if by any chance a person is not endorsed by our ruling class, the media ignores them and claims they are not violable at all. We than choice one of them, and we are than upset when they get into office and clearly do things for the benefit of those who choice them for us to vote on. Until we stop voting for, or start to protest for campaign fiance reform stop being surprised nothing changes.

We have a lot of hard work to do and a lot of hard work has already been done here in Vermont to get us to a single-payer health care system. And we will succeed in this project although much has been spent and will be spent by various lobbying organizations representing chemical, pharmaceutical and medical 'corporations'. Especially by insurance companies. How is it ever going to be good for the consumer to have a huge industry take money but NOT be part of the healing process?

Buddy Roemer is full of ish. He conflated private medical insurance reform with a single payer option. They are not the same thing, and that was what Sanders was trying to get at.

@Sincrol We spend more right now than other rich counties on health care, its because we do not have universal, so people waste huge sums going to emergency rooms instead of going to a normal doctor, that they do not pay for. Its stupid your argument is mute when you grasp that its no different from having to have car insurance why so you do not cost others money! That the same logic that needs to be implied, people will be sick or hurt and everyone needs it so the state not liable!
