  • good job but why not jsut rent a track loader and a 315 with a blade

  • @ericroy123, that is a track loader to us Aussies, and float onto this remote site from the nearest cat hire centre would have been uneconomical when we have two machines already.

and you cant get 315 with a blade is Australia as far as i know

  • Great little digger - I have a 305 and I think its the best in the 5 ton range - I also have a video of it for you all to enjoy.

  • @HARLEYBOY33 , uhh ya lucky bastard! ive had my eyes on a 305 ever since i started earthmoving, but this is the biggest machine that fits on our little tipper, which we have now outgrown and need a bigger truck, so in theory, if the boss had listened to me the first time, i could have had my 305, hmmmmm bugger lol

  • Is this a 30or 303. I just purchased a 04 303 and can't wait to get it. How is this machine digging? Great video. you are pretty fast. Been operting long? Cheers

  • @blacklabmustang and i had to wait roughly 4 slow months for the 302.5 to be made in England and sent over to our dealer is Australia, it was the first one WesTracCAT had delivered to a customer so i know all about itching to get into your new machine!

  • Great. Thanks for responding. I'll post a video when i get my machine. By the way i am from Newfoundland, Canada. Keep the videos coming i enjoy watching an excavator wok the way it suppose to. Take care. All the best!!!

  • @blacklabmustang Its a 2008 302.5C, weighs about 2,900Kgs (or 6390 pounds depending on where your at) so it will be slightly smaller and lighter then your 303. the machines done about 350hrs of varied work from excavating and trenching, through to graple and hammer work, light demolition and stump removal, and although i wish the boss would get a bigger cat, this one does its job just fine everyday, and ive been running these two machines part time since going through plant school in 2008

  • could be more productive if that cat track was pushin instead of bucketing everything around

  • @IShredBMBWOhio cant you detect the sarchasim in the title?
