Wrigley Field; downtown Chicago; the corn fields of Illinois; the St. Louis Arch; Busch Stadium in St. Louis; Meramec Caverns in Missouri; the fields of Oklahoma; the most kitschy barbecue joint in Amarillo, Texas; Cadillac Ranch in Texas; a deliberately crooked water tower in Texas (meant to get people to stop, as we did); Texas's "largest cross in the Western Hemisphere;" Mesalands Dinosaur Museum in New Mexico; the Santa Fe Opera; downtown Santa Fe; the desert of New Mexico; a rainstorm that was taking place in just one small part of the desert; the forest of Flagstaff, Arizona; the wildflower fields of Flagstaff, which account for all the yellow; the desert of western Arizona; Hoover Dam at the Arizona/Nevada border; the new bridge, half completed, that will bypass Hoover Dam; the Mojave Desert of California; the wind-turbine farms of California and Central California.
