@tokyocooney I've heard of things that are lethal being at the same time on the menu, especially in asian countries like balloon fishes or shark, and many others not necesarily sea food but mostly, nonetheless in the end as long as it tastes good it really doesn´t matter, cause everyone will die someday so just make sure that whatever it was that killed u was enjoyable, try to live life at the fullest

I mean if you're a healthy relatively young adult (like cooney) salmonella isn't going to kill you. Who knows, he might have had some contaminated raw poultry but his immune system fought it off while being asymptomatic. It happens. IMO it's no worse than eating eggs that aren't fully cooked (which people do all the time). I wouldn't be surprised if most people haven't worked up a resistance to salmonella.
BTW, freezing meat at a certain temperature kills parasites.
