- my pads have what you would call "UPHOLSTERY" on it along with some "PRESTOFELT" underneath it. Both these type of fabrics and be bought at any fabric store.

Same here. Went from rockband to actual drums and I turned out pretty fine.lol. and people say plastic drums wont help you with the actual thing...lol

for video game instruments singing is obviously the most real

then drums cuz its not quite real drums but it teaches you to use your hands and feet in time

and then guitar/bass comes last cuz its only 5 frets and one string wen a real guitar has 6 strings (bass is 4 strings) and usually around 20 frets

tho it teaches you moving your fingers around the neck a litle

for rock band 3, there will be a hi-hat, ride and crash cymbal able to buy and add on the rb drum set and they will register as the actually cymbals in free mode, and the snare and 3 other toms will register as toms, so you got yourself a great 8-piece electronic kit. rock bands turnin' into a better drum simulator
