This is the requested hairstyle #4 from my outfit video. (:
I believe this poofy bun is very popular in Asia right now.
While browsing through some Korean & Japanese fashion site, I saw lots of models with it and I thought it was soooo cute.

There are many ways to create this hairstyle; the simplest way is below (for those with fortunately thicker hair):

Since I have thin&layered hair, I had find a different method and I came up with this (had fun experimenting too ;D). It definitely takes more hand work than my other tutorials, but if you practice often, you'll get it down! I curled my hair at the beginning so my hair could have a better texture to work with. If your hair is usually manageable and listens to you, then you can skip the heat.

Some people may think it's over the top, but I think it's absolutely adorable (especially with some hair accessories). &I love the way it looks from the top view.

Enjoy! I also have a few more tutorials done. Will edit and upload them soon!

Much love,
x3Haha

  • so i have a lot of hair & my hair is also very thick, if i do this it will fall out really fast even using a bunch of bobbypins! is there any way you think that will help that not to happen? (:

  • @vpawsome

If you have long hair, you can try my 2 minutes lazy bun instead! It's very stable & you actually don't even need any bobby pins for it unless you want extra security! :)

  • @vpawsome

I'd definitely recommend you to curl your hair first. That way, it'll stay better.

If it doesn't work well with bobby pins, you can try my 2 Minutes Lazy Bun tutorial instead. It's more suitable for long thick hair :)

  • And one more question lol, so my hair does not do a "side sweep" so would all your hairstyles look good with out it and what can I add to make it look better? Or to "jazz " it up LOL

  • @weinerdoglady1

It depends. Some hairstyles look better with side swept bangs; some don't (x

If you need help getting your bangs to sweep to the side, you can check out my other tutorial. Just search up "x3Haha style bangs" and you should see the video :D

  • Does it work for shoulder length thin hair? D: do I'm actually nervous to try:/ LOL

  • @weinerdoglady1

It might; you should give it a try and see. Don't be nervous! Practice makes better :D

Yeah, you definitely can. Your texture would be much easier to work with, actually (:

  • @raymariger what do your armpits look like...?
