Four hundred years after Galileo began peering at the stars, 2009 is officially the International Year of Astronomy. Techniques have moved on since Galileo's day. Radio-observatories and space telescopes use the whole electromagnetic spectrum to create a picture more detailed than light alone.
"People have to help themselves before they can help others", or so the saying goes. Planet Earth has not fully been understood, yet we are looking for another planet that has life.
Although this might be irrelevant, the movie AVATAR had a new planet to humans but with a poisonous form of oxygen. We have no clue exactly how our planet was formed or how life began on earth. But we are still looking for answers to another planet to inhabit.

I love astronomy, but sadly I'm rather bad at math. Otherwise I would be studying it myself right now!
But hey social sciences are also interesting ;)

Entonces... ¿LISA va a ser un sistema geosincronico?
¿Acaso no afectara esto la pureza de la informacion recaudada?
La opcion mas viable seria ina estacion fija que transmita la informacion via radio a un satelite. Pero en fin. Yo no soy astronomo. n_n

It appears that your knowledge of science is as wide as your sense of humor.
Thanks for commenting about it anyway.

He said 40 years ago in nineteen sixty nine.
Though the "nine" is barely hearable, but he said it.
