Green Lantern The Movie

Motion graphic design by http://www.mikeafford.com - fan-made Green Lantern trailer -
3D modelling in Cinema 4D, some artworking in Photoshop, post production in After Effects CS3, grading with Magic Bullet 'Looks' which I do rate very highly.
Movie uploaded as 320x240 FLV (25fps, 350kbps, audio 192kbps stereo - but it still gets re-compressed right - is there any way of avoiding this I wonder??)

By the way - yes, John is black, Hal is white, Kyle is a bit Mexican apparently, and Guy Gardner is kind of ginger looking. I don't know which might appear in a real movie if it ever happens (**update Aug 09 - it's Hal Jordan, being played by Ryan Reynolds**). Hopefully all of them, and also Sinestro (magenta) and the Guardians (pale blue).

Anyway i do hope everyone likes my trailer.

Comments welcome. Although don't expect a prize for just saying 'Fake'. Of course it's a fake. Anyone who's seen Transformers, Daredevil or Smallville should be able to spot that without too much trouble.

And also, the music is Lux Aeterna / Requiem for a Dream, and yes it IS used a lot. Or so I've been told. Over and over again. I haven't seen another one using the same track personally, but then I don't tend to go to YouTube for trailers as they're mostly rubbish :) So anyway, if you leave a comment like "why does everyone use this f**king music you dumbass" there's a very good chance I'll delete it.

Well done to those who noticed that 'this summer' doesn't quite tally with 'coming soon' - especially at Christmas! It sort of made sense when I made it :)

@1Bawden it sounds like you really just want a black guy because Superman isnt black in the comics. you say you want to mirror the comics but you want a black Superman? look Im not against blacks. but I think they should have more black people play the actual black superheros instead of make a black Superman. John Stewart is black, and he kicked ASS in the cartoon. it would be great to see him. but Hal Jordan isnt black, and neither is Superman. thumbs up for Sammy J as Jon Stewart in sequel.
