KK Downing Solo (Retired from Judas Priest!)

KK Downing, Ex-guitarist of Judas Priest who retired on the 20th April 2011, playing a amazing solo. KK downing said this on his website:

"Dear friends,

It is with much regret that I will not be with you this summer. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your concerns about my health. Please rest assured that I am O.K.

There has been an ongoing breakdown in working relationship between myself, elements of the band, and the band's management for some time.

Therefore I have decided to step down rather than to tour with negative sentiments as I feel that this would be a deception to you, our cherished fans.

However I would urge you to please support the Priest as I have no doubt that it will be a show not to be missed.

You are wrong,...it is a big deal because it is not all in the technique of playing. Many young guitarists around the world have beautiful technique, but they don`t have soul and charisma.

@IIxHarbinger I think it's not so much him wanting a break from touring and things, I think he wanted to retire for good and Priest wanted to keep doing studio things and small tours here and there, so he quit the band. I've also heard him say that he'll never disclose some of the reasons for his retirement from the band, which hints at something more sinister. I've also heard he's opening a hotel or something. So yeah, I'd love him back in the band too, but don't hold your breath.
