On Sunday, October 10, while attending New York Comic Con, I ran around to as many of my favorite kids comics creators as I could and asked them all the exact same questions. Keep in mind, conventions are crazy loud and crazy busy, so there is a lot of background noise. Let me know in the comments if you have trouble hearing anything and I'll translate for you.
I suspect I don't really need to introduce Terry Moore, but just in case, here you go: Probably best known for Strangers in Paradise, Terry has also created books for tweens and teens. Echo, Terry's newest self published series is great for teens -- so great, in fact, that it made the Great Graphic Novels for Teens list in 2009. Terry also created one of my favorite comics for tweens, Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane, for Marvel Comics. I was nervous talking to Terry and garbled up his book titles, but he was too much of a gentleman to correct me on tape.
