Robotech is NOT MACROSS. Harmony Gold is trying to block Macross from coming over. Robotech is a bastardization of Macross with massive edits to the storyline and actual show- the main story of Rick Hunter is left legible but after that it gets impossible to understand.

Macross Zero is only in Japanese right now. Harmony Gold is trying to bring it over but theres some legal crap going on.
Robotech has been around for ages and can be bought on DVD or all three sagas can be downloaded

And Focker was a fighter pilot LONG before the Macross Saga! Or didn't you see the first episode?

The Great War is World War I i believe. They have F-14s back then? I didn't know that! Even if this is World War 2 we still wouldn't see F-14s flying around. This is the "Global Civil War" refered in the Macross Saga just before the SDF-1 falls down to earth.
