Great job young man. One of my favorite fiddle tunes ever. MXrider5383, the reason this makes you sad is probably because when the great Carpenter wrote it, he said he was very sad looking back on his old home on the Elk River which he missed dearly. I can play this tune for an hour straight without even thinking about stopping.

I should post a response to it..... is wormy chestnut. It was from a special building in Gatlinburg, over 200 years old! Can you see why she sings so sweetly?!
