The 11-0 Colerain Cardinals, led by arguably the best Colerain backfield ever assembled, take on the St. Xavier Bombers back in 1998. NFL star B.J. Askew (34) runs wild but The Bombers' ball control offense proved to be too much for the Cardinal D and kept the O off the field. Colerain loses 42-14. News highlight at beginning... More to come.

  • i live in colerain yurr

  • Damn, B.J. Askew was a beast for colerain. They shoulda gave him the ball more in the first half. Too little too late!!!

He rushed for for 244 yards all in the second half after only having 1 carry in the first half. Wooooooow

  • They spelled his name wrong, it's COOMBS, trust me i know all too well

  • winton woods should of beat st. x

  • These highlights rae from the Colerain highlight film from that year, so they have a Colerain biased POV

  • he really was. the best running back up until this past year. you wouldn't think he earned that many yards based on the highlights

  • That it was. Colerain's D was awful that year.... Sollman was also that good.

  • wasn't this the game when sollman dropped 316 all-purpose yards, earning him the nickname of Sollman: 316?

  • Jesus you'da thought Colerain won the game.
