Turn on the key, push the pump and kick the pedal. This is the usual but special moment.. Feel the preasure when engine invokes.

  • Hi, swisslowrider,

Thanks for looking my video. There was long road to reach to this condition.

  • Hi, Nico,

My shovel is stock, no modification at engine.

The answer will be oil lifters.

    Thanks

  • Thank you!

  • Sweet shovel...what type of rear fender is that...??

  • @lindo745 Part 2.

After riding for a few miles it will then idle smoothly. It kinda looked like you pump the throttle once. That doesn't do anything since the SU has no accelerator pump.

  • Real nice but you primed it incorrectly. It worked the way you did it but the plunger on the left of the carb should be held up while you pump the tickler. What that plunger does is hold the piston up off the floor of the card and allow the gas to flow better into the throat. Also since it started with only three pumps, one kick, then went to smooth low idle I can only assume the bike was already warmed up.

When I start mine I need to leave it on the fast idle for a bit then ride.

  • How expensive was it to import this bike to Japan? How hard is it to get parts? I can't even imagine how much work you put in to owning that bike. Nice job dude.

  • tickle that carb baby hahaha.

  • this is sound ?? lol

  • Why are you lifting the piston on carb 3 times???? Lift piston(on left) ,then tickle ..with piston lifted it lets fuel flow in to intake,,,,still cool shovel..

    Dave

  • beautiful

  • 3 tickles on the tickler, 3 on the fuel, set the choke ..... music!!! Tell 'em the tick-tack sound is not the lifters, its the piston in the carbry!

  • kind of a long process but the results are worth it. nice bike
