However, if you are ever in a situation were you need to sing to pick up some cash, I had better learn to sing with my eyes open and make eye contact. She makes good money signing in exclusive jazz and swing clubs. It's about balance, not over doing. Look up Jimmy Gnecco Light on the Grave, and watch him. He is so focused on his voice you can see it.

One day my voice coach told me, work on your face. I was floored. She said, no one is going to want to watch you cringe and make silly faces when you aren't singing high at all. I'm not trying to be mean, but unless you are doing some crazy shit that cause permanent voice loss like Jimmy Gnecco, you need to chill.
I'm only trying to help you because you've got the balls, and that is what separates most out of the equation.
Work on your face, it will help you sing better in the long run.
