The ad had nothing to do with America. It revolves around Australian culture. Not everything is about America!

Oh lord, it was ONE bloody commercial! One. Made by an American company. Its not like America is watching all of Australian television, looking for things to say. Anyhow, that commercial could have easily been entirely different, and in fact would've been a better piece of advertising.

It was made by an Australian branch of an American company. Not everything has to be from american culture. These people called their bluff, and whilst doing so, made plenty of racist and ethnocentric comments.They should have done their research, so they would know the truth.
Why would it be better? Because idiots wouldn't call it racist and it would be American, like the company? It could have said "Kill Jews" and still be better? Be more specific and less xenophobic.
