Can someone help me with this, please? Which version of this song has a creeeeeaky door opening and an eerie voice saying "Allo?..........Come Eeeen".
Anybody know? I heard this in the very late '60s, I believe.

My son, at 8 years old, played this song every day for about a year on a Victrola that he saved for months and bought after Christmas that year. He's 18 now and he listens to the Beatles.

That's a wierd label...
Wonder why this record is on a new independent?
Wasn't Ray Columbia in US and Phillips in UK?

I'm not sure about the history of the Coronet label, but I think they must have had something to do with Philips. I have a few records that the same pressing appear on both labels, even though they are all Australian pressings. I've also got Johnnie Ray on Columbia's which were pressed here.

I just had a look, and Coronet was the main label used by the Australian Record Company of Sydney beween 1957 & 1960. The released mainly CBS recordings along with some Australian recordings. I guess we also got the same recordings through the UK Philips catalogue.
