  • You could cut a strip longer and wider than the headband, wrap and glue the edges under, then cover the raw edges inside with grosgrain ribbon to hide. Be careful when wrapping to stretch the fabric so that you won't end up with puckers on the top. You might even consider adding some thin batting for a padded headband that will be a little more forgiving.

  • I just went to the website and could not find the headbands.

  • @latinamomma408 We used plastic headbands from Darice. Sorry that they are not available in our online store, but they are available at Beverly's Fabric and Crafts in Caifornia and come in a couple of sizes.

  • Loved your tutorial! Where did you buy your white headbands that you used? I loved how flexible the white one was that you used to bend and show the inside of it.

  • Will this technique work with elastic bands before sewing the ends of the band together?

  • @bnhunter Unfortunately this technique will not work with the stretch type of headband. As the headband is stretched to put it on you will have gaps in between the ribbon, and once it relaxes the ribbon will more than likely bunch up.

  • What if I don't want to wrap the material. What if I want just a smooth surface on the outside? How would I do that with fabric? Thanks ;)

  • es una basura

  • Cute bows,

  • I checked out the website, Beverly's.com and could not find any headbands. Lots of great fabric, but no headbands. Are you sure this is the right website?
