@ZalorianLord Well said. I thought the same thing about Nakago until I read his novel. He wasn't bad the entire time, it was what happened to him when he was a kid and after that made him do underhanded things.

@himeno19 LoL wow its been a year huh? Well, it's simple, the soldiers of Kutou destroyed his hometown. He had his power when he saw soldiers rape her mother. He then bitterly served the emperor until he can get his hands on him, he was patient to his plan... His ultimate mistake was that he wanted to be a god, to correct the world's mistakes and somehow, miscompensation among others, that's not a good reason. If you didn't find your answer, sorry, cuz it's been a year when I was a FY fan.

Nakago has gone good that time..... I really misjudged him after watchin' FY and I realized he isn't bad after all when I watched OVA 1.
I realized now that he is not evil. He has his own reasons for doing such brutalities out of revenge. Nothing is evil in Fushigi Yuugi..... It is a battle of reasons, desires and dreams.........
