UF academics are a joke. I don't even know why UF students are so stuck up and talk about FSU academics. Not even us Berkeley students are that stuck up.

FSU has several programs supposedly better than UF, but I think ranking colleges is sketchy.

Also the difference in acceptance at FSU and UF is something like 5%. FSU is the third hardest to get into in the state, UCF is second.

I was accepted to UCF and FSU, and never even applied to UF even though I matched the average accepted high school student at UF.

Recently I've been looking into PhD programs and the one I'm interested in is actually easier to get into at UF than FSU.

That's not true. Most people go to FSU because they did not get into UF (which is way too selective). I've only known FSU to have a good music and law program.

FSU is consistently mediocre. Every time I see them play Florida well, they tank during their conference games (yes, I know it is the ACC). They never seem to do well in the postseason either. It was last season (06-07) anyway. I know UF is so-so this year, but FSU has been that way every year that I've watched (03-present).
