Match Light - NO WAY. Just baste the bird with gasoline for the same flavor.

did you add "matchlight "charcoal to hot coals?? Did you brine the turkey first?

I never use Match light, and cook it breast down in a pan.

That looked like a 12 to 14 pound turkey i can't bake one in my gas oven in 3 hours how can you barbeque it in 3 hours hotter i guess??Sure want to give that a try on my grill sure looks tastey mmmm!!

I watched this exact video last year .....did it for the first time and it worked perfect....now im watching it again this year as a refresher..and i cant wait till Thanksgiving.!!!

thats awesome. We have the same grill, so, this gave me GREAT ideas. Wouldn't of thought of moving the charcoal over to the side like that. Thanks!
it looks kinda dry from the grill... maybe you should add a pan of cola in while cooking, you know, for it to steam.
anyway, i wouldn't have the time to cook... i work for the missle silos, protecting America!

Actually I do put water in the drip pan, in order to make a wonderful smoky gravy afterwards.
