  • I've got a question... Again :). Could you please explain me what's the sense of the meaning 'Ani cmo ets nitsav batsad'? You wrote that it means 'I'm like a tree stands on the side'. Shouldn't it be 'StandING on the side'? I'm not Hebrew and I don't know the language, but he's singing about a TREE WHICH STANDS ON THE SIDE or STANDING ON THE SIDE, I guess. But I can be wrong, of course. Please, could you help me with my doubts and solve the problem? Thank you very much :)

  • I think it can be both it's just a question to whom does the verb reffers. It makes sense in both ways:

    I'm like a tree which STANDS on the side;

    I'm STANDIND on the side like a tree. In Hebrew it's written the same because you have only 3 tenses: Present, Past and Future, so it's up to you to decide what you prefer more as long it makes sense.Hope I helped!

  • Beautiful. :) I like this song, and this movie. Can someone post the lyrics and their translation? ^^

  • I have added it to the info>>>

    Enjoy!!

  • I think the Hebrew in this is the best translation ever. When Garrett is singing, it almost sounds like he's crying. So beautiful... ;_;

  • that joke about blood wasnt funny in english either. i love this song and hebrew just makes it better.

  • Who sings this!!??

  • OH MY GOODNESS!!!! 0:54 TOTAL MUSICAL ORGASM!!!!!!

  • אבל.. "אתה שייך לעולמים" לא אומר אתה שייך לעולם שלי... =\

    לא ממש אפשר לפרש את זה לאנגלית ושעדיין יהיה לזה את אותה המשמעות :]

    אפשר אולי להגיד "you belong to me forever" או "you belong forever" (שזה נשמע טיפשי אבל זה פירוש יותר מילולי) ^_^

  • Aw, poor Garrett. He sounded so sad! Beautiful music, as always. Thanks for posting!

  • thanks ^^

  • Ata shayasch leolami

  • Sad...But beatifull
