Grieghallen, Bergen, May 4th 2009. Fine opening by a great band! The rest of the concert wasn't that good. Ian Anderson's voice has faltered, he's having problems reaching the highest notes. Where has the wild stage performances gone? Perhaps JT is finally getting "too old to rock'n roll..."

  • I absolutely agree. I'm very grateful Ian and JT's still around, making good performances after so many years. I still think he has a fine voice, though somewhat marked by age.

  • Gjerdesmutt, thanks for posting this. Maybe your intro comments are a bit harsh - yes it's a shame about Ian's voice, but those problems go a long way back and, as for the "wild performances", Ian is 62 in August - I'm just grateful they are still there for those of us who have followed them for so many years :-)
