IVAW at Third Obama-McCain debate

Iraqi Veterans Against the War (IVAW) is an antiwar activism group that is a favorite target of verbal shouting attacks by Fox News' Bill O'Reilly and other Bush-Cheney thought police. This clip shows unprovoked attacks on IVAW vets peacefully demonstrating outside the last presidential debate by both mounted and riot police. Not only refused entry, multiple injuries later the Iraqi vets were also arrested. Their spokesperson said they just wanted to know the candidates' positions on when the war will end. Apparently, the strict media agreements with both parties over the lively debate coverage has required them to remain silent on stories like this one or on the violence outside the RNC. I hope that it is not because they are gagged by apathy or prejudices against the protestors. I would like to think that as John Edwards promised, this election cycle would help give voice to the voiceless in our country.

We needed Ron Paul or Dennis Kucinich to be our President. Both voted NO on Iraq and kept saying NO the whole way out.
