good lesson, but try to learn alternate picking, the main riff sounds horrible

First off good tutorial but i feel there are some issues for people knew to this song.

IMHO your timing is off.

If you are learning this play along with the original recording. Drums and guitar riff should lock and be tight, notice how the low note on guitar is with the kick drum and how the top note is with the snare (playing the F# riff).

Also it should be open A, B on second fret, C on third fret.

You start on the fifth fret on the E string and timbre wise it sounds wrong.
