I agree. Sprints help me feel as if I actually got a full body training sin. You can't beat a workout that enhances aerobic and anaerobic capacity. Plus, sprints help build solid "fat-burning" muscle, unlike long slow cardio, which eats up fat-burning muscle.

hey Sincere,
will doing 5-to-7 50-to-100 yard hill sprints, Resting for 10-to-20 minutes and then doing another 5-to-7 50-to-100 yard hill sprints give me a bigger butt?

Definitely go at "your" own pace, as you know what your body can truly take during your training. However, I would reduce the rest period. 20 min. would seem a bit too much. Again, however, only you know how much your body can take.

BTW, I love hill sprints, because they can help give you rock solid glutes. If you don't believe me, try finding a saggy behind among any olympic competitive sprinters ;-D

WE run up hills all the time, well mondays and fridays, we used to do long runs on them and for a while we did hill sprints, all out on fridays, it was the hardest thing, plus we used to only rest for 2 mins, including going down, that was hard...we were doing 8 sets and it used to take about 20 plus sec up those hills....Olympians train there too., matter of fact, I'm back there tomorrow!
