Q24 can be solved and the answer is B. The first question is an inequality but the second is not. It states that 700x=280 which will give you an exact value instead of a range like question 1.

Sal, it's because of your teachings that I was able to catch your mistake on Q24. I greatly appreciate all the videos. Before watching these videos I would have agreed with your answer for 24.

Sal is using the GMAT Official Guide 11th edition. There is a 12th edition now available and some of the problems are the same.

Umm maybe I'm going crazy but Q24 looks wrong to me. x can't be solved because they are inequalities...1) x<0.5 and 2) x<0.4

Thanks for your videos but i think Q.24 is wrong. X<0.5 means x can be both 0.3 or 0.1 or anything. Similarly statement 2 is insufficient too. Taking both the statements together you can answer the question.
Pls avoid such mistakes as there have been 750 people as of today who took away a wrong information.
