My first go with the HQ Toxic 4m power kite at "Wallop Reloaded" on 28-May-2011

A big thank you to HQ powerkites for letting me have a go with the new HQ Toxic 4m at the "Wallop Reloaded" event, May 2011. Wind was a bit gusty but averaging around 13 to 14mph. The kite handled really well and was a lot of fun! I refrained from blasting it about all over the sky early on so my son could actually capture the above video footage, but got a bit more daring later. The kite turned nicely especially with a touch of brake input. This is not a kite for beginners! I can only relate my power kite experience to HQ Beamer kites. My main kite is normally an HQ Beamer V 4m and the Toxic is certainly more punchy, has more lift and is remarkably easy to fly given the experience gained on the Beamer. I can't compare this to an HQ Crossfire for example, I've never flown one. The Toxic 4m was not fitted with kite killers for the demo but if I were to fly the 5m version in this gusty wind, I might have needed them!
