So far I had to buy a new antenna for DTV and new cable wire and tried to different cable boxes, I do get so channels like ch 11 and 13, but the rest are so poor and have to keep scanning the converter box , this system really sucks and I will have to purchase cable tv very soon, Why did they do this in the first place? is the cable company behind this?
new boxes will have RFID type 'traceable' technology thus making it easier for the TV liscencing people get onto u if u not paying ur liscence.. there are also spiritual 'dampners' that are now more efficient in the digital form ...as with plasma tv's...but i doubt most people will beleive that...depends on how awake they are
I have cox cable but they were saying in this ad that you get more channels with the digital converter box. I was wondering if it was worth canceling my cable service and just getting a box for 4 of my T.V.s
I bought a quadro tv today and i just cant get the digital antena to work I mean when i try to use it it like "laggs" and the sound dissapaears and there are black boxes
If you have VH1 and E! that means you have cable and didn't have to buy the little converter box right? The reason I ask is because the media said if you bought the converter box you would get more channels if you were not hooked up to cable.
They say there are still about 3 million people who aren't ready for the transition.... so while watching basic cable channels for the 1st few months after the transition I should expect to see less commercials for retard helmets and the video professor.... hopefully
as of now, while surfing through my measly 26 rescanned channels, i nocticed some of my uhf channels are still broadcasting in analog. does this mean they are not complying with the law?
