COD4 S&D with an ATI Radeon 4870x2

Just messing playing my fave COD4 game type on my new PC build. The settings in cod are maxed out and the res is 1680 x 1050, and im getting around 125 fps with video capture software running. I always play with mp5 but i decided to have a go with acog M40 and this is the result. I learnt my basic acog skills from the master capguntom on ps3, when i was in DSPX & Rz with him.

I have my own server so i can set fps to whatever i want, I can also get 250 fps on 99% of the servers in 1.6 patch (that is what i play on). Check my other video showing around 200 fps for a 4850.

Enable higher Frames Per Secon (FPS):

\com_maxfps 125 (I sometimes use 250, i find 125 helps with my ping)

I also use:

1) Show framerate so you can see how your PC is performing.

\cg_drawFPS 1 (choices are 0,1,2,or 3 where 0 = off)

2) Show network connection quality:

\cg_drawlagometer 1 (puts a graph just above your grenades)

4870x2 rules u can get wellmore than 125 fps when tweaked out.

well noobs dont know about the tweakin.

na it's 1 card but with 2 gpu's in it so it's 2 in 1 so another one of these is 4 4870's

for PC it's still like £40, but my friend has it for both, he leant me it and I used his key, I can run, on my full res of 1280x1024 vsync off glow on everything else on etc. Texture - Extra Anisotropic Zilch! :P and AA Off, even if I put AS on it starts to slow slightly you can tell.

but apart from that it runs really well.

oh and refresh rate at a max of 75Hz.

I'm probs gonna buy a HD 4850 from Palit, because they are small 188mm and they should be cheaper when the DX11 cards come out soon

should play it but i would keep GPU, overclock it a little to about 3GHz with a good cooler and get a 4870 or 4890 up to you but not a bad gaming rig
