Urban Bushcraft - Fire Lighting.dv

How to light a fire with nothing more than a scouring pad and a 9 volt battery. This is just one of a many 'urban bushcraft' techniques described in a book written by Matthew Cole entitled; "How to Predict The Weather With a Cup of Coffee". Matt asked me to help demonstrate some of these techniques because we served in the same regiment together under Colonel Jackson. If you are wondering why on Earth you'll need to know stuff like this, my advice to you is watch the documentary "I am Legend". You'll see that shit happens, even in big cities, and if you want to increase your chance of survival, its best to be prepared, or "semper paratus" as Colonel Jackson used to yell at every time a car back-fired or someone burst their crisp packet.
