Mudhoney is a grunge band that formed in Seattle, Washington in 1988. They have been an inspiration and influence on many grunge and alternative rock musicians, most notably Kurt Cobain of Nirvana. Mudhoney's career is chronicled in Our Band Could Be Your Life by Michael Azerrad, a study of several important American underground rock groups.

  • genial !!!!

  • this song rocks

  • mudhoney hated the term grunge..bands like these weren't all that fussed about fitting into record industry pigeon hole marketing slogans..they took the piss out of all that shit hence the "new wave" slogan on the shitty acoustic guitar accompanied with a wry smile.check out the vid for suck you dry for other clues..can't believe how many peeps are wasting time arguing over these brand names instead of just enjoying the music.save that shit for the slimeballs in suits who sell product ;)

  • @birdy47 Pearl Jam is alternative Nirvana is punk Alice in Chains was gloomy rock and yeah Mudhoney was definatly grunge or tounge in cheek punk

  • @stoltobot -plenty, they just aren't on tv. Most of the good ones are independent and still in the underground andhopefully it stays that way this time.

  • @birdy47 what I liked about the nineties is that all my favourite bands sounded completely different. Rock and metal music these days just isn't as good as the nineties. There's some really good metal bands out there but they tend to sound the same, and rock bands....are there any rock bands left?

  • @Andymalcolm1 You bet it was! All 4 months of it!

  • brilliant

  • @Andymalcolm1 hey you forget about all the bands since the STROKES!!!! wtf!!!!

    (im just joking of course)

  • @birdy47 And Soundgarden had ALL of that
